Privacy notice

This notice explains how SionCo ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit sionco.co.uk or contact us. We aim to keep it short and in plain English. We handle personal information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

SionCo is an AI consultancy based in Chester, UK. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at hello@sionco.co.uk.

What we collect

When you use one of our enquiry forms, we collect the details you choose to give us:

  • your name, company and email address
  • your phone number, if you provide it
  • the type of enquiry, and for training enquiries your team size and preferred dates or timing
  • your message

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you wish, to discuss and arrange our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing lists.

How it is handled

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. When you submit a form, the details are processed by Cloudflare and sent by email to our SionCo inbox. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, also processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website. Our email inbox provider stores the messages we receive.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

Cookies, analytics and fonts

We do not use analytics or tracking tools and we do not set cookies on this website. Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so no font requests are made to third parties such as Google.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and then delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information
  • object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
  • ask us to transfer your information to someone else, where applicable

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
