The problem

Most of your team have tried ChatGPT or Copilot by now. A few use it every day. Most gave up after a couple of vague answers. Someone has probably pasted something into a free tool that they shouldn't have.

At the same time, the weekly admin keeps growing: reports nobody enjoys writing, the same supplier emails, quality paperwork that takes longer than the fix itself.

General AI courses don't help much. Their examples are marketing copy and holiday itineraries, not a non-conformance report or a shift handover. People go back to their desks, nothing changes, and managers are left wondering whether the tools are safe to use at all.

AI Workday 101 is different. One day, on your site, using your own documents. Siôn works with your team on the tasks they actually do. By the end of the day, every attendee has used AI to do at least one real piece of their work faster. They leave knowing what is safe to share and what isn't.

Who it's for

People in manufacturing businesses who spend their day on documents, emails, spreadsheets and reports rather than machines.

Operations and production planning

Shift reports, schedules, handovers, meeting notes.

Quality

NCRs, 8Ds, CAPAs, audit preparation, customer complaint responses, work instructions.

Office and admin

Emails, purchase orders, supplier chasing, minutes, templates.

Supervisors and team leaders

Who want their team using AI properly, not quietly or not at all.

No technical skills are needed. If someone can write an email and use a spreadsheet, they can take part. Up to 12 attendees per workshop, and a mix of roles works well.

What you get

Time saved on a real task, on the day

Every attendee saves time on at least one real task. It might be a report, a set of emails, a quality document or a spreadsheet, done with AI and checked by them.

A prompt playbook for each role

A short, practical set of prompts and worked examples for their own tasks. Attendees leave with a starter version on the day. The tidied version follows by email within five working days.

Data-safety rules managers can stand behind

A one-page "safe to paste / never paste" guide for your business, based on the tools you actually use.

Use the tools you already pay for

Most businesses already have Copilot through Microsoft 365, or Gemini through Google Workspace, and barely use it.

A short summary for managers

It covers the tasks covered, where time was saved, and the two or three bigger opportunities worth a closer look.

Before the day

  1. Scoping call

A 30-minute call about two weeks before. We agree the attendees, the tools you use and any house rules on data.

  2. Attendee questionnaire

Each person names two or three repetitive tasks they'd like to speed up.

  3. Sample material

You gather a handful of real examples, such as reports, emails and templates, with sensitive details removed (guidance provided).

  4. Exercise preparation

Siôn builds the exercises around your tasks and checks the plan with you.

What you provide

  • A meeting or training room with a screen or projector and reliable Wi-Fi
  • A laptop for each attendee, logged in to the AI tool(s) you want to use (for example Microsoft Copilot with a work account, ChatGPT, or Gemini). Siôn can advise beforehand if you haven't decided
  • A sign-off from IT for the tools and accounts being used
  • Sample documents for the exercises, with sensitive details removed
  • Refreshments and lunch for attendees
  • The attendees, for the full day, away from the phones as far as possible

Pricing

One fixed price for the group, with no per-head charges. SionCo is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged: the price shown is the total you pay.

Half day

£595

On site, up to 12 attendees, about 3.5 hours

No VAT charged

  • Safe use, prompting and one guided hands-on round
  • A standard manufacturing prompt playbook instead of role-specific ones
  • Suits teams that can't release staff for a full day
Enquire about the half day

Optional 30-Day Check-in

£395

£295 when booked with the workshop

No VAT charged

  • About 30 days after the workshop, Siôn comes back on site for up to three hours with the same group
  • Reviews what people are actually using, and what has quietly stopped
  • Fixes the sticking points and extends each person's playbook with new tasks
  • Measures the time saved on a few real tasks, so you have figures, not impressions
  • Picks out the two or three bigger opportunities where automation or a tailored AI tool could save far more, with a short written note
Enquire with the check-in

After the check-in, some clients will want to stop there. Others will want to take one opportunity forward through a SionCo AI Opportunity Assessment. Either is fine.

Frequently asked questions

Do our people need any technical skills?

No. The day is designed for people who use email, Word and Excel, not for IT staff. Everything is shown step by step, and nobody is put on the spot.

Which AI tools do you use?

Whichever you use or plan to use: Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Google Gemini. For most manufacturers on Microsoft 365, that means Copilot signed in with a work account. The prompting skills carry across all of them. If you haven't chosen yet, we'll talk through the options on the scoping call.

Do we need paid licences?

Not necessarily. Many teams start with the version of Copilot or Gemini that comes with their work account. Paid licences add features, such as working directly inside your files and inbox, and we'll show you where they're worth having.

Is it safe to put our documents into AI tools?

It depends on the tool, the account and the document. That is why data safety is covered first, not last. The basic rules:

  • Use work accounts on tools your business has approved, not personal or free accounts. Free consumer tools may use what you type to improve their models unless that is switched off.
  • Never paste personal data about colleagues, customers or suppliers, or passwords and system logins.
  • Never paste customer drawings, specifications or anything covered by an NDA, commercially sensitive pricing and contracts, or controlled or defence-related information.
  • Remove names, part numbers and customer details when they aren't needed. The AI usually does just as well without them.
  • Always check the output. You are responsible for anything you send or sign off.

Every client gets a one-page guide setting out these rules for their own tools and policies.

Will we use real company documents on the day?

Yes, that's the point. But we agree beforehand which ones, and sensitive details are removed first. Nothing goes into a tool your IT team hasn't approved.

What if someone is sceptical, or worried about AI taking their job?

That's common and welcome. The day treats AI as a tool for removing the dull parts of the job, with people still making the decisions and checking the work. Sceptics often turn out to be the best users, because they check the output properly.

Can you run it for more than 12 people?

Yes, as two separate sessions, either on consecutive days or a week apart. Keeping groups to 12 or fewer is what makes the hands-on work possible.

Is this the same as your AI Opportunity Assessment?

No. The workshop helps your people use everyday AI tools on their own tasks. The Assessment is a fixed-scope review of your operations, data and processes to find larger projects, such as predictive maintenance or quality inspection. The workshop and the 30-day follow-up often show where an Assessment would be worthwhile, but there's no obligation.

Do you charge VAT?

No. SionCo is not VAT-registered, so the prices shown are the full amount you pay.

Where do you deliver?

On your site, anywhere in the North West, Cheshire, North Wales and the surrounding regions. Further afield is possible, with travel quoted up front.
